Winbond 25Q256 support

I need to program a 25Q256 chip, do you plan to add support to this EEPROM? if not, can you please guide me how to add it to the code?

Hello Francisco,

yes we do plan to support this chip. The problem is that this and other
flash chips with a density of more than 16 MB use a different address
format than all flash chips before. To support this properly we will
need more time than we currently have...
