hi I am using the following mobo to play and update my thrashy bios file from f2 to f6 version and the bios chip is on the list of supported devices but I got an error in looking for erase function http://www.gigabyte.ru/products/page/mb/ga-8ipe1000-g_3x#kf GA-8IPE1000-G (rev. 3.x) here the output of the command flashrom --programmer internal -w 8ipekg.f6 https://pastebin.com/nkDDXZ34 I try it under freebsd 11.1 and even these advice doesn't help cat /etc/rc.securelevel securelevel=-1 SST49LF002A/B 256 FWH OK OK OK OK 3.000 3.600 I didn't find anything but tuning secure level in FAQ section is there any other workaround I can go for flash these mobo successfully? I installed winxp but I missing the point that gigabyte flash exe not work from desktop and there is no clear DOS to go for it, autoexec.bat with such command flash.exe 8pipekg.f6 dosn't work and I missing any floppy diskette for sure I wont to waste CDR on freedos or even format one of 16Gb flash cards for freedos but...well its not short way i attach file with info and paste i cant enter in hexchat after registering using sasl auth..strange but these complicated to me...
Perhaps try Linux instead of BSD? Might be a newer version of Flashrom available than the FreeBSD port.
