I'm excited to announce that I am taking over as the maintainer of the Bus Pirate.
Having been closely involved with the Bus Pirate through conducting training, developing modified PCBs, addons, and crafting custom firmware...
Currently, I am collaborating with Ian (Bus Pirate creator) to determine the best way to support the upcoming Bus Pirate v5 in Flashrom.
We are exploring various options, including the potential use of DirtyJTAG or perhaps devising a new, more modern binary protocol. These are exciting times, and I am eager to lead our community through them.
I would like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to Anastasia for her kindness and support.
Please note, for the Bus Pirate v3 and v4, there will be no major updates as the hardware is quite dated. However, I am here for any support or queries you might have regarding any version of the Bus Pirate.
If anyone has questions, needs assistance, or wants to contribute ideas, please feel free to reach out. Your input and collaboration are what make our community thrive.
Sincerely, Dreg
David, you are so much welcome! It is fantastic to have you with us!
