However, it is missing from the "Supported programmers" page of the Flashrom wiki: https://www.flashrom.org/Supported_programmers
Hi!
The existence of that page is rather a mistake. It has been unmaintained for a long time and should be replaced. Instead the Supported_hardware page (which is generated from flashrom's source semi-automatically) should note the BBB and directly link to its page. Will be like that... sometimes in the future.

Thanks for the clarification :)
The Supported_hardware page is a bit confusing. In its current state, it reads (to me, at least) as a page intended to show which hardware can be flashed *by* Flashrom. It doesn't give the appearance of being about which *programmers* are supported by Flashrom :)
Even though there is a little section on "Other programmers" at the bottom of the Supported_hardware page, this in itself is confusing. For instance, the Bus Pirate is listed under that heading, even though it is a USB device and there is a heading "USB Devices"...
Anyway, I look forward to seeing the planned improvements, in the future :)

Add a programmer category, and have the categories listed on the supported hardware page.
Also, Sam, it's a wiki.

Sounds reasonable.

Yes, but it has no obvious way to create an account ;) I guess I could request one, here on the mailing list, but:
- I don't own a BBB, so wouldn't be the ideal person to add any documentation for that; and
- it didn't seem sensible to request a wiki account, if I did not have a good use to which to put it.
