P1-P5945GC: ERASE FAILED

Hi flashrom devs!

My attempt to flash BIOS with http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/Barebone/P1-P5945GC/P5L8L-SE_0705.zip failed miserably:

Writing flash chip... Erasing flash chip... ERASE FAILED at 0x000000f0! Expected=0xff, Read=0x50, failed byte count from 0x00000000-0x00000fff: 0xee7

As told on #flashrom, I'm attaching output of following commands:

# superiotool -deV >superiotool.txt
# lspci -nnvvvxxx >lspci.txt
# flashrom -V >flashrom.txt

Unfortunately, I did not make any backup image.

The dumped BIOS is unchanged. It consists of P5L8L-SE_0704.ROM for the
non-bootblock contents and P5L8L-SE-0201.ROM for the bootblock.

restricted to flashrom developers)

No problem, rebooting should be safe based on my analysis.

We will take a look at your data and create a board enable for you, then
ask you to test it.
