Unable to flash MX25L3206E

Hi,
I try to flash a mx25L3206E from macronix with flashrom 0.9.7-r1817 with a raspberry pi via spi. The chip is on the motherboard.
 I've disconnect Vcc from motherboard. Flashrom failed to erase the chip and say "flash chip is in an unknow state ». 
I launch the following command:
sudo flashrom -w XXX.bin -V -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0 -c MX25L3206E

AFAIK this was handled successfully eventually:
