Hi Johnny,
I couldn't connect the link, https://www.flashrom.org/Development_Guidelines#Adding/reviewing_a_new_flash... with the error below. Maybe the link was changed. Also the links below.

To send a patch you need to follow the guidelines here https://www.flashrom.org/Development_Guidelines#Patch_submission --> with the same error above.
In addition, read specifically the section about adding a new chip https://www.flashrom.org/Development_Guidelines#Adding/reviewing_a_new_flash... --> with the same error above.
One more document is about building flashrom from source https://doc.flashrom.org/dev_guide/building_from_source.html --> with the message below (unsupported protocol). [cid:image003.png@01D9C60E.013F0790]
Can you please get the latest information about the links above through your contact in FalshRom?

The tips at https://www.flashrom.org/Development_Guidelines#Adding/reviewing_a_new_flash... will probably help you get started; if the chips you want to add support for are similar to already-supported chips it should be easy to add the new ones, but as long as they don't have any very unusual behavior there shouldn't be anything difficult about it.

Hi FlashROM,
We have a customer who pointed us to your organization. They asked if we could get more of our SPI NOR flash supported. Do you have a contact or person who would be able to guide us in this activity?
We see the following parts supported here:

Hi Johnny,
Good that you reached out. Indeed we are in the process of moving documentation to the new website, so the links have changed. Old website is available at wiki.flashrom.org address.
In your case, for overall dev guides, new link is: https://www.flashrom.org/dev_guide/development_guide.html Instructions how to add new chip hasn't been migrated yet, you can access them by the link: https://wiki.flashrom.org/Development_Guidelines#Adding/reviewing_a_new_flas...
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions along the way.
Hi Anastasia,
Can you help comment on the meaning of the question marks in the screenshot attached?
We pulled this list off flashrom website.

Hi Johnny,
Question marks mean that the operation in that column is untested for this chip, untested on hardware. Usually it happens when chip definition is added based on datasheets information, but without testing on hw. Later if someone runs operations on the chip successfully, the chip can be marked as tested. Also sometimes chip definition is added and tested straight away.
This table on the website might not be fully up-to-date, and the best I would recommend is to look at the source , flashchips.c. This file contains all chip definitions and is fairly readable by the human eye (and you can search by chip name). If you need to look the source it in the browser for any reason, you can look in our github mirror: https://github.com/flashrom/flashrom/blob/master/flashchips.c
I just looked, and the question marks in your screenshot are still untested chips. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the confirmation on this.
