Flash Chip in an Unknown State

Hello,

I am trying to set GBB flags on a Chromebook, Machine type is Lenovo 100e
Gen 4 as 82W00001US. Receiving error during write after removing write
protection through hardware.

Receiving error when attempting to update GBB flags after Reading old flash
chip contents:

FAILED at 0x003f3000! Expected=0xff, Found=0x24, failed byte count from
0x003f3000-0x003f3fff: 0xff8

Your flash chip is in an unknown  state.
