Is there any timeline for Intel C602 chipset support? This is the chipset for dual processor Sandy Bridge servers.
the interface most probably did not change significantly so as soon as we get aware of the pci id of its LPC controller, it will probably be supported. sadly intel seems to not even supply such trivial information for server chipsets without an NDA. if you have such a system, please boot up linux and send us the output of lspci -nn | grep LPC
I apologize for the delay. Here is the output:
00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation Patsburg LPC Controller [8086:1d41] (rev 06)
Let me know if you need more information or would like me to test it.
Thank you, Greg
