flashing BIOS using flashrom on ASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE

Did you experience any problems after rebooting the machine? Did the
onboard Ethernet controller still keep its original MAC address?

I tested flashrom (not the current svn version but an older version)
on an M2N-E and had the aforementioned problems. After flashing with
flashrom with system wouldn't boot without resetting the CMOS
settings. Also, after the flash procedure the MAC address had changed
to a rather unusual one.

Can you comment on this?
