For anyone who is interested: on the next flashrom meeting 27th April we are brainstorming a new up-to-date version of Development guidelines. If you have ideas and a bit of energy to improve our Dev guidelines, you are welcome to join!
The main goal is to make guidelines clear and understandable by new contributors. Which can mean re-writing confusing bits, removing out-dated bits, adding missing bits, and so on.
I created a doc for brainstorming: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GHwUiKAUlqXifzXh7hlMpfGe56cyFc8Udn8zsUty... Doc allows everyone to add comments / ideas. No account needed. Regardless whether you can or can't join the meeting, you are welcome to add ideas to the doc.
