I'm assuming the LPT port on the chip is in use.
I'll just order one and check it's PCB out.

Dear FlashRom,
There are a few USB programmers on EBay like: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=150950459618
It looks like a modified Rayer design to me, but I'm not 100% sure.
Did anyone try one of these with FlashRom?

Hi,
why do you think it is related to Rayer?
It seems to be similar to the concept of ft2232_spi but using another USB bridge chip, namely CH341A. http://wch-ic.com/download/down.asp?id=114
No idea if this stuff is related, but there are a number of CH341A-based devices and programs: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ch341eepromtool/ http://www.biosdiy.cn/wzcp/CH341Aenglish.htm http://www.marcmart.com/ebay/o/OT757/OT757-USB_SPIsoftware.rar
Patches welcome... it certainly does not work *yet* with flashrom but I don't see a reason why we could not add support for it. -- Kind regards/Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Stefan Tauner
