Flashrom has grown up and it is time to set it free.

Giving flashrom its own mailing list [e-mail] and IRC
channel irc.freenode.net/#flashrom will help flashrom become an
independent project with its own community.
Of course, flashrom is still part of the ever-growing family of coreboot
related projects and will continue to use the coreboot project
infrastructure.
