can you please retry to write your update with
sudo flashrom -p internal -w 78NAA512.ROM -VVV -o retry.log
and if that still fails please try to write the backup with
sudo flashrom -p internal -w backup.rom -VVV -o backup_write.log
and send us the files, thanks.
