so... amd kept the same pci id for their lpc device for the last years. the e350m1 uses the A50m chipset, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_AMD_chipsets#Comparison_of_FCH_.2... i think it is fairly save to change the chipset enable device_name to something like "SB7x0/SB8x0/SB9x0/Axx(M/E)" or maybe "SB[789]x0/A[57]x(M/E)"... but thats kinda unreadable. naming all variants explicitly is not an option either. calling them "predecessors of sb700" is not wise either (they probably WILL change the id sometime in the future...). what do you think?
