Today, I tested this board with flashrom v0.9.5.2 again and looks like it needs "Board-Enable" code in order to unlock the flash ship. I am attaching the output log from '-Vr' operation that failed. What else I can do to help?
there is no need for a board enable but for additional code in the chipset support (there are many more boards like yours with exactly the same problem, hence the warning above). i have posted more information about locked ME regions yesterday here: http://www.flashrom.org/pipermail/flashrom/2012-March/008964.html
