Do you mean that both of the rdid probes should have returned the same value? I'll have to find a way to make sure the flashrom is healthy and properly connected. Thank you for your time!

assuming that the buspirate itself and flashrom work correctly, you get either "all 1s" or "all 0s" on the miso pin for the same command. this clearly indicates a hardware problem. -- Kind regards/Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Stefan Tauner
