[flashrom] requested info to troubleshoot an ERASE FAILED! on SST49LF002A in asus P4B

Dear Sirs, please find here some of the requested as for sudo
superiotool -dev I get file not found (I did not dig this out)
The board is ASUS P4B REV. 1.05 using latest released bios 1012 (I did
not want to try beta bios) which can be found at

Thank You for your promp assistance.  You may want to know that the
write operation failed on a spare flashrom.  I can reinsert the original
after power off.
