Add a "device" parameter for Dediprog

This patch adds a "device" parameter for Dediprog which enables use of multiple dediprogs connected to a single machine. Very handy for test racks. Example usage: flashrom -p dediprog:device=0 flashrom -p dediprog:device=1 etc... Reading EPROM on RTL8139

Hi All, I'm tryng to read some old UV-erased 28 pin 27xx on some Compex RTL-8139 card with 28 pin socket (32 pin socket may be soldered there, but it is not!) (I have 2 installed, the PCI address is correct) on Linux-Slackware-14 as root with the following: flashrom --programmer nicrealtek:pci=00:09.0 -f -r bios Calibrating delay loop... delay loop is unreliable, trying to continue OK. No EEPROM/flash device found. Note: flashrom can never write if the flash chip isn't found automatically. Hi everyone, I have a MacBook Pro (13" mid-2009) who, I think, suffers from a bad firmware flash : from nowhere, or after an update, it makes 9 beeps when powered on (3 short, 3 long, 3 short) and nothing else. I have found references from similar cases when people seemed to have recovered by rewriting a good firmware with flashrom and buspirate ( http://ho.ax/tag/firmware/). On my machine I have : - a chip labelled MX25L3205DM2I-12G - buspirate 3.6 (v3b, firmware 5.10) - flashrom v0.9.6.1-r1620 - hooked (while the chip still on the motherboard (no power, battery out)) : pin1->CS, pin2->MISO, pin4->GND, pin5->MOSI, pin6->CLK, pin8->3.3v * Pins 3,7 not connected. * I also tried pins 3,7,8 together with the same result. Flashrom 9.3 erarse and write error

Hi, We are using BIOS+ME region with the help of vendor tool. >From Flashrom tool, we are looking for Save/Update the NVRAM BIOS setting region. We are able to read the NVRAM BIOS setting, but we are not able to write NVRAM setting as flashrom is not allowing us to write on to bios region. Because erase is not happening before writing and also spi_send_multicommand() in flashrom is failing. If it is possible could you please help us to provide the command for erasing and writing on to NVRAM BIOS setting?
