I'm trying to flash the rom on an HP Envy 20 (model 20-d034) as oxide
suggests here:

Touch/HP-Envy-20-Black-Screen-On-Startup/m-p/5715628#M89817
However, I am getting this error when trying to create a backup or read the
rom.

what does it mean when "requested mapping is incompatible"? any suggestion
on what to do next?
So can FM25F04 be flashed with flashrom?I dont see this SPI flash chip in
the list of supported devices.So how shall I flash it using flashrom?Please
let me know.

Hello,
I am new to flash rom and I am trying to flash the FM25F04 chip. I am using
this programmer https://github.com/JiapengLi/usbprog with teensy 3.2
and it comes to point saying "generic flash chip found (RDID)" but does not
read or write to it.I am doing this in windows. But later I tried the
arduino Due itself as suggested in usbprog but it does not start flashing
into it but gets stuck.
Could someone please tell me how to get this working.
