I have been collecting some of the important messages of the OpenBIOS mailing list discussing various thing and I was thinking about compiling them and making an unofficial OpenBIOS web page. Anybody have any comments?

There is a new project "freebios" at SourceForge, based on the STPC BIOS sources.
All the usual SourceForge doo-dads are available:
web page (from SourceForge, for now) mailing lists (one for users, one for developers) bug tracking CVS repository task manager patch manager FTP space
Look at http://freebios.sourceforge.net/ for details.
If you are an active developer, you may ask for CVS write access. (Note this is granted only after submission of a couple good patches).
Finally, we will be doing a CVS snapshot every couple of weeks, until version 1.0.0 is released...
Please direct all comments to the "freebios-users" and "freebios-devel" lists, not the OpenBIOS list...
As a lurker on this group, I think that would do a great deal of good. I have not got sufficient skills to contribute significantly, being an operations person and not a serious programmer. But reading the dozens of daily postings is just too time consuming. I would love to have a place where I could check in, say, once a week for the current news.
This is a great idea, and I hope that you will attempt it.
Regards, Ed Lukacs
