Hello,
does any know where i can find the latest info about the linux bios 
project? pls. let me know

(i tried their website (linuxbios.org), but is down; sent mails
to the authors, didnt get any response.)

Did you try Google? I'm not sure they even have linuxbios.org:

yes there is a linuxbios.org, don't know what happened. (it is a verisign 
thing though ...)
