An empty "ranges" property means 1-1 translation. No "ranges" property means nothing is mapped below this.
Maybe it might be a good idea to document these things (and how they differ between iteratons of Apple's OF properties, and what is/isn't required by OS 9), but I'm not sure where/how to do so. Any suggestions?
The Linux kernel is the primary for a lot of other bindings, it may be the best place to collect this info (it also has drivers for these devices).
