Talk to the mailing list administrators; the mailing list sets headers so that "reply to all" will only send to the list. It's a big nuissance.
I now have access to the list configuration and can change this if everyone agrees. Which mailman option should be changed and what is the preferred value for everyone?
This mailing list adds a "Reply-To:" header saying only itself. Almost all other mailing lists don't. Without the header, "reply" in your MUA will (by default) reply only to the sender of a message, and "reply to all" will cc: the list (and everyone on cc: in the original message). With the header, both "reply" and "reply to all" will send (by default) only to the list. The really nasty consequence is that if you want to do a private reply and you are not paying attention it will end up on the list. Oops.
The mailman manual calls it "reply-to header munging" and says it is a religious issue ;-)
"reply_goes_to_list" should be set to "Poster", which the manual says is strongly recommended. I suspect it is now set to "This list".
Cheers,
