Might this document help? https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E63648_01/pdf/806-1379.pdf
I'm sure it would help I just rather have someone else read it and then answer my questions because I aleady have enough to read (such as ati-vga docs, Pegasos2 chipset docs, PPC docs) so I'd not add OpenFirmware standards and docs to this list because I don't have time for all of these.
If you do not know open firmware basics, and you refuse to learn them, then why (and how!) do you expect us to help you with your misunderstandings of it?
By explaining it and answering specific questions so I can learn the small part I need without reading through hundreds of pages? For someone who already read the docs or know these it's probably easy to see why I'm wrong and correct me or point me to the pages I should read to clear my misunderstanding while for me who knows nothing about it I don't even know where to look for an answer. I ask questions here because I hope to get it done quicker that way than learning everything myself to the point that I can do it alone. I'm not refusing to learn but I don't have time to make myself an Open Firmware expert first to be able to make some changes. I hope those who are already experts could help me here this way. That's what a development mailing list is for isn't it? As for why, I do this because no one else does and I need a firmware for the machines I'm trying to emulate in QEMU.
