[OpenBIOS] INFORMACION

Estimados Usuarios de Linux, soy usuario de LInux desde hace ya un año y no logro terminar de sorprenderme por los resultados obtenidos. Me comunico con Uds. porque necesito instalar o al menos intentarlo, la BIOS de Linux, vivo en un pequeño Pueblo de Argentina y enseño computación a un Centro de Jubilados donde tiene maquinas antiguas que por borrado del BIOS ya no funcionan. Creo que la única alternativa es instalar este Firmware y desde ya Linux. Descargue los archivos necesarios pero no logro descomprimirlos, quizás como todo esta en Ingles, estos no sean los correctos y es la razón por la cual les estoy molestando. Si pudieran darme algún mensaje, alguna solución, se los agradecería muchisimo y desde ya ellos también.

PD Les cuesta aprender a usar Linux, pero de a poco y sabiendo que es el futuro, siguen intentando.
