Patch Set 1:

I'm not currently seeing any difference between cloning with and without --depth 1.  It doesn't make sense to me that there WOULD be much of a difference since the file structure is really flat anyway.

I think it's a good plan regardless, since I think we should go through and delete some of the older reviews.  Since they're in git, they can always be recovered.

Maybe after we the 4.6 release, we can delete some:
4.5 commits that are within 10 of each other
4.4 that are within 20 of each other
4.3 that are within 50 of each other
4.2 and below that are within 100 commits of each other.

I can look at writing a script that would automate that.
