[SeaBIOS] [PATCH] sdcard: Initial support for SD cards on PCI SDHCI controllers on QEMU

Kevin O'Connor kevin at koconnor.net
Tue Dec 16 16:08:26 CET 2014

This adds basic read/write support for SD cards emulated by QEMU.
This code is not expected to work on real hardware, because the
current controller and card initialization is not robust.

Signed-off-by: Kevin O'Connor <kevin at koconnor.net>
---

PCI SDHCI support was just added to QEMU git (qemu commit 224d10ff).
This SeaBIOS patch adds a very basic SeaBIOS driver for SD cards on
QEMU. One can test by adding "-device sdhci-pci -sd my-drive" to the
QEMU command line.

This patch is not related to the SD card patch sent to the seabios
mailing list back in June 2014. This patch implements a very simple
PIO mode driver.
