Okay, then it's simply a matter of implementing SMM entry and RSM, 
adding save/restore support, and interfaces for asserting #SMI.

Which PCI device is that?

When you say "tries", do you mean it allows for failure?

I have a truly marvellous patch that fixes the bug which this
signature is too narrow to contain.
