 Hi Alex,
Slackware of 95 is pretty old- maybe get a Debian 2.1 (priceworthy)
and have a look at www.kde.org :) (by the way -most up to date binaries
come as compiled for the new glibc2 (gnu c library) -so gimp should work
after an upgrade.....)
