[flashrom] the size doesn't coincide

If I understood you correctly you want to use a flash chip that is two
times the size of the original but use the old contents.
In that case the easiest is to simple duplicate the file contents like
so (on Linux)
cat orig.bin orig.bin > new.bin
Something similar probably works on Windows too.

There is no easy way to disable that check.
