[flashrom] Asus A78M-E eeprom not found

Many times in the last weeks, i was unable to in-circuit flash under Arch.However in the past i could flash with, but under Xubuntu. In the past months i was migrated many of my systems to arch.Can it be a kernel- or distroproblem?
