Yes, as long as you do not reboot.
The best way to correct this is to use an up-to-date flashrom version
including a few additional patches from my amd branch:
https://github.com/stefanct/flashrom/tree/amd
I don't have time to explain the details ATM, please ask on IRC if you
need further help.
