There is no surprise here since other similar motherboards from Gigabyte
work.

Manufacturer:  Gigabyte
Model:         GA-MA790XT-UD4P
South bridge:  AMD SB 750
Flash chip:    Macronix MX25L8005

flashrom version:  0.9.3-r1205

I tested reading and writing, but did not test erasure separate from
writing.  A transcript follows.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
# ./flashrom --verbose --read $h/r/chw/mb/bios-dump-f4g
flashrom v0.9.3-r1205 on Linux 2.6.32.8 (x86_64), built with libpci 3.0.0, GCC 4.4.1, little endian
flashrom is free software, get the source code at http://www.flashrom.org
