Could you please try again with the latest flashrom version from svn?
Your version is very very old, and it's possible that there were some
issues back then with non-reliable "SUCCESS" messages being printed.

Also, please let us know which mainboard this is exactly (a URL to the
specific vendor website board page would be nice too).

Please post the following output if possible:

 - ./flashrom -V -w Net5.27

 - lspci -nnvvvxxx (as root)

 - superiotool -deV
