"This flash part has status UNTESTED for operations: PROBE READ ERASE WRITE"

Using satasii, all my tests worked ok.

Read verified against firmware download. Erase then read file contained 
all 0xFF. Probe worked or it wouldn't have got this far. Writing then 
verifying also worked.

Writing produces this message:
"Flash image seems to be a legacy BIOS. Disabling checks."
Are these checks really needed when using an external programmer?
