Yes. The flash ROM in your system is protected in a mainboard-specific
manner. To add support to flashrom for your mainboard, please provide
the output of
a) flashrom -V from current svn flashrom (http://flashrom.org/Downloads
contains install instructions)
b) lspci -nnvvvxxx
c) superiotool -deV (http://www.coreboot.org/Superiotool#Installation
contains install instructions)
