[flashrom] Chip unkown state?

Your boot block is write protected. Flashrom can not erase it. The
remaining parts of the chips have been erased. DO NOT REBOOT!

Get *latest* flashrom source first (this means *at* *least* r1224, the
latest release "0.9.3" is just r1204 and not new enough), and then use
"flashrom -w original.rom". This should be able to fixup the mess. I
can't tell whether the boot block lock can be removed by software or is
a hardware thing. If you are lucky, the boot blocks are identical in the
files and current flashrom just skips reprogramming the boot block even
with the new file.

Further analysis of the BIOS would be needed to find out whether it is
OK to skip the boot block if they are different.
