There is support for Braswell (Cherry Trail's professional brother,
AFAICT) through an FSP blob. Intel is always absolutely unspecific
about which SKUs their blobs support. You could poke somebody at
Intel or Google with access to the source code to find out. Although,
if the blob supports Cherry Trail, there'd still be work to do in
coreboot.

If the Braswell blob doesn't support Cherry Trail, it's very unlikely
that anything will happen. To convince Intel to do something on the
matter, you'd need a huge business case. Otherwise, somebody would have
to reverse engineer the code (unlikely to happen by chance).
