All,

I just wanted to alert you to this patchset up for review that removes
the built-in Kconfig option to add an external microcode file.  As
mentioned in the commit message, this option appears to be of decreasing
utility due to the recent microcode update streamlining efforts, however
as it is a user visible change it was decided that the general community
should be involved in the final decision:

I expect this to impact only a small number of users.  In any case the
desired microcode files(s) can still be added after build via cbfstool
(this has been tested here and works well).
