Hi,

I have a couple different Supermicro board models based on the Intel E7501
chipset. The website and people in IRC indicated there is some support for
this chipset and that it might be possible to get these working. Here is
the information requested in the FAQ

Supermicro X5DP8-G2

Board Manual

Product page lists
  Intel E7501 chipset
  MCH + ICH3-S + P64H2

flashrom -V indicates
  "Intel ICH3-S"
""Intel 82802AB" (512 KB, FWH) at physical address 0xfff80000."
flash is socketed, print on chip is "Intel N82802AB8 A3417434"

superiotool -dV indicates
  "Winbond W83627HF/F/HG/G (id=0x52, rev=0x17) at 0x2e"

Full output of lspci, flashrom, and superiotool for both boards is
available at

The manual PDF mentioned above is the same for both boards and applies to
the following boards
  X5DP8-G2
  X5DPE-G2
  X5DPR-8G2+
  X5DPR-iG2+
  X5DPi-G2+
So hopefully that means they will be similar enough to be enabled together.

I'm willing to test, I have a null modem cable and a POST card, etc.

Thanks,
