No, no beeps... The driver just initializes the codec.

If someone had a nice piece of code to output a sample on azalia
devices, I think we should make it an option. I looked at alsa some time
ago but found it less than trivial to extract the info useful for us.

Could you please send a log file containing the output of the new azalia
driver?
