hi

This NVRAM is for suspend/resume. So it is only powered if 5VSB is 
there. So it is not a real battery backup device.

The platform has 256 bytes of classic NVRAM (CMOS). I think you can use 
ioports 74/75. to get access
to whole 256Bytes.

(check if PCI 11.0 4e bit 3 is 1) I think it should be.
