Yes, that does seem to be the case. I've tried two Nvidia PCIe cards (a
7900GS and a 6600GT) with both 3118 and 3119 and none of those
combinations works. However, an ancient 32-bit Cirrus Logic VGA card
works with both versions of coreboot. Unfortunately, I don't have an ATI
or other type of PCIe card to try right now.
