Hmm, that is strange. That was before my time. I have only been involved
with coreboot for about 1 1/2 years. What was the revision that it was
committed to the svn? Maybe you could research a few revisions after that to
see when it got dropped? Maybe search the mailing list archives to see if
there are any discussions on why it got dropped?
