Would it be simple to allow in-tree building?
Also, this is not a good default:
~/lb/LinuxBIOSv3/util/lar $ make lar
printf " BUILD LAR\n"
mkdir -p /util/lar
mkdir: cannot create directory /util': Permission denied
make: *** [lardir] Error 1
How can we handle it better?
