Hello ron,
5000-series is a new Intel Xeon DP platform, for the new Core-based Xeons
including Quad core Xeon Clovertown. Here is the link:

I have Tyan Tempest i5000XT board with two Clovertowns.
Among other things, i would like to have more control over chipset and memory
initialization. This can only be done at bootup on these platforms.
