I like that! Although a small alarm goes off in the back of my head
since Linux and init are already pretty close to each other, at least
in my memory bank. But perhaps hwinit or hardware init? Oh, that's
the second time I come up with that.. :) "Hardware initialization
phase" or hwinit for short, sounds good?

Thanks! That's very encouraging. :) I wish I had time and hardware
to contribute to the code as well, but I don't mind working on
"softer" matters.
