Hi Luc,
Can you check that you have the following lines in
mainboard/via/epia/Options.lb
use CONFIG_CONSOLE_SERIAL8250
default CONFIG_CONSOLE_SERIAL8250=1
I had a similar problem until I added these.
You should see LB getting a little further.
