VIA was extremely helpful with the EIPA issues, from what I understand. 

We're getting there. 

Also, be aware that the much of the world is less than happy with the idea
of any one vendor controlling their software, much less their PC
architecture. Anything that pushes to unity of control (such as DRM in the
BIOS) will probably be poorly received.
